The Association shall be known as the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA). The objectives are to promote the advancement of physiotherapy in Malaysia and to maintain high standards of professional practice.
Membership shall consist of Ordinary Members (registered physiotherapists), Student Members, Associate Members, Honorary Members, and Corporate Members.
The Association shall be managed by an Executive Committee (EXCO) consisting of President, Vice-President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, and Committee Members elected at the Annual General Meeting.
The AGM shall be held once a year within three months after the close of the financial year. All members in good standing shall be entitled to attend and vote.
The financial year of the Association shall commence on 1st January and end on 31st December each year.
This Constitution may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of members present at a General Meeting, provided that notice of the proposed amendment has been given at least 21 days prior.
